Our Mission:

To promote the cause of diplomacy in the world as a whole, rather than resorting to violence and destructive war-making. Diplomacy holds so much more power than war.

Who We Are:

A bipartisan group of Citizens of nations all over the world who and believe that war is wrong.

What We Believe:

War is too destructive to be something actively supported. Too many innocent people die as a result of it. The evils of war outweigh the good.

Who We Support:

Firstly, our troops, as they need as much support as they can get. We support the man or woman who strongly holds the belief that war is not a viable option. We support organizations like the War Resisters League that help increase awareness of the diasaster of war. We also support organizations that help the poor and needy around the world, like MAKEPOVERTYHISTORY and ONE.

Live 8: A Wonderful Thing : 02.07.05

Live 8 is a series of concerts around the world hoping to influence the G8 summit. They hope to get G8 leaders to forgive debts of several African countries so that the poverty in those nations will end. There’s not a better cause than to help the poor. You can sign the Live 8 List here. Many of you already have shown your support to end poverty with Make Poverty History. You can buy the ONE bands if you live in the United States, and places to obtain your white band can be found here. You can see the concerts here.

Our Corner Banner : 23.06.05

Want to support A Prayer for Peace with one of those cool corner banners? Here’s the code to do just that. All you have to do is copy and paste the code that you prefer from the box, and paste it just above the < body > tag of your HTML. It should work just fine.

Opening : 17.06.05

Welcome to A Prayer for Peace. This will hopefully be updated soon.
